My Room Telethon: six years of record-breaking partnership

Melbourne, Australia – We’re thrilled to announce another record-breaking year at the My Room Telethon 2025. On 25 September 2025, Probe Group, My Room Children’s Cancer Charity and Channel 9 partnered for the sixth consecutive year to raise vital funds for My Room’s critical, life changing programs and services for children battling cancer.

Known for delivering exceptional, human-centric experiences and digitally-enabled CX, our team of 100 volunteers put these unique skills to the test - and the results speak for themselves. By the end of the two hour telethon, broadcast during the AFL Grand Final Footy show on Channel 9, more than $6 million was raised for My Room Children’s Charity - surpassing last year’s $5.2 million.

Accompanied by TV presenter Nathan Currie, AFL stars Massimo D’Ambrosio, Cody Weightman, Ben King and Max King and soccer legend Archie Thompson, our team of exceptional customer experience specialists answered 1,100 donation calls, ensuring a seamless, donation experience for the public.

Margaret Zita OAM, CEO at My Room, said, "At My Room our mission is to fight childhood cancer with everything we’ve got. But we can’t do it alone. Partnerships like the one we have with Probe Group are absolutely critical to our success. They’re the team that quietly work behind the scenes, making sure donors are cared for and every interaction counts. The results this year speak for themselves, and we couldn’t be more grateful. A huge thank you to Probe Group, to our amazing volunteers, our partners, and of course, the generous donors who make it all possible."

Creating positive change

This year's remarkable achievement marks a milestone in Probe Group’s ongoing partnership with My Room. On the night, Probe Group demonstrated our unwavering commitment to the cause by donating a further $20,000. This was in addition to our yearly contribution whereby we mobilised a secure and fully operational call centre to provide an exceptional experience for the thousands of generous Australians picking up the phone to donate.
